KTS, ATLAS COPCO CELEBRATE 25-YEAR TIES

The business cooperation between KTS Trading Sdn Bhd and Atlas Copco over the past 25 years has witnessed great changes with the hope that the next 25 years will see greater changes. KTS Group of Companies Managing Director Datuk Henry Lau Lee Kong said the partnership which started in 1983 had brought great changes and the impact of the changes hopefully can be seen in the next 25 years. “Today, as never before in human history, the world has been so congenial and dynamic, and I’m sure the past 25 years have prepared ourselves well to embrace the future of another 25 years,” Henry said in a speech delivered by KTS Group Deputy Managing Director Vincent Lau Lee Ming during a dinner to celebrate the 25th anniversary of KTS Trading Sdn Bhd and Atlas Copco at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu here yesterday. According to Henry, the business relationship between KTS Trading Sdn Bhd and Atlas Copco has allowed the KTS Group to understand much better the aspirations and philosophies of both companies. “We thank the customers as well as the staff for their continuous support which has enabled us to continue to do our business.” Meanwhile, the General Manager of Atlas Copco Malaysia and Singapore, Mr Phun Lee Ming said the cooperation between their Company and KTS Trading Sdn Bhd has brought in many technologies ranging from compressor, construction and mining equipment to forestation and plantation as well as infrastructure and manufacturing. “Atlas Copco has always seen Malaysia as a very important growing market since the early ‘80s and from our perspective, the country has a lot to offer in terms of economic growth which has been proven for the last 20 years.” “And we continue to believe the Malaysia market has a lot potential for growth into the future even during this period when we have a lot of uncertainties in global economic development,” he added.
